Biden’s Wilmington residence has more secret materials, the White House said.

Biden’s lawyers found classified documents at his home in Wilmington, Del., this week. They initially found one classified document and stopped searching the property. A White House lawyer with a security clearance searched the residence on Thursday and found additional documents. The searches were conducted because they do not have security clearance. Biden’s lawyer has released a public timeline of events regarding the discovery of classified documents.

Secret documents were found at Biden’s former office and his Wilmington home. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel to investigate the handling of the documents. Biden stopped using his office at the Penn Biden Center when he launched his presidential campaign in 2008. He said he had no idea what was in the documents and emphasized his lawyers are cooperating with the probe. Multiple aides have been interviewed by federal law enforcement officials as part of the investigation.
