After challenging midterm elections, House Republicans plan to approve anti-abortion legislation

The House will vote on a resolution condemning attacks on “pro-life facilities, groups and churches”. The House will also vote on the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act”. The bill would require doctors to provide care to infants that survive an attempted abortion. Legislation will be considered on survivors of attempted abortion and a ban on federal funds for abortions. Leaders had also considered legislation to ban abortions beginning at 15 weeks.
