Opinion Pelosi has found the Democrats’ midterm strategy

Nancy Pelosi has consistently been an advocate for running on “kitchen table” issues, such as lowering the cost of health insurance premiums and prescription drugs. Julian Zelizer: Pelosi has good reason to tout Democrats’ prospects in midterms. He says Democrats need not to do much on their third issue: Republicans’ lawlessness, penchant for violence and hostility toward law enforcement. Zelizer says Democrats must run on what they’ve done; they must focus on their future agenda, including abortion rights, voting rights and the Voting Rights Act, a woman’s right to choose, and the rest of the GOP’�s ‘rule of law”
