Haiti’s pain is made worse by a cholera epidemic.

Haiti is among the most vulnerable nations in the Western Hemisphere to a ghoul’s gallery of public health threats. Washington could do more to impede the spread of what is ordinarily treatable sickness. The Biden administration has faced an unprecedented flood of illegal border crossers over the past year. Gangs have shut down swaths of Haiti’s territory and facilities, including many of the nation’s schools. Cholera has now spread to every significant population center in the country.
