Democrats are winning elections with values-based campaigns.

Frida Ghitis: Democrats are now a coalition of the woke, anti-racists and tolerant. She says they can win by casting Republicans as party of bigotry, intolerance and radicalism. But she says they should give up on strategies that haven’t worked in the past. Americans vote not just on policy but also on partisanship, their social circles and other non-policy concerns. That approach both galvanizes the Democratic Party base and wins over people who voted Republican in the past.
