In light of the epidemic, the US claims Fairfax schools failed pupils with disabilities.

The U.S. Education Department has concluded Fairfax County Public Schools badly failed students with disabilities. The department laid out its findings and requirements in a 23-page letter to the district’s superintendent. The district has signed a 10-page resolution agreeing to meet these demands. The Education Department says it is “relieved” that Fairfax County students with disabilities will receive equal access to education. The Fairfax system serves nearly 180,000 students in Northern Virginia. The department opened an investigation into the district’s service during the pandemic years.
